Two books. Same topic. Same author. Maybe 20 years in between. Seasoned with time and experience, his writing must therefore be different. This book is called the “Heart Sutra”. The word Heart, ("Tâm" in Vietnamese), could mean "centre", connoting not merely "important", but "essential". Tâm could be also defined as "learn by heart", "always remember". Truly, this sutra is one of the most popular document and the most recited in Vietnam. I don’t recite. I just read, as any other ordinary book. I read this twice. Also a 20-year gap in between. Read to remember. Try to forget afterwards. The understanding herein is called “the Perfect Understanding", a kind of Full Enlightenment.
